Shipping policy

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier and tracking information has been provided, responsibility for the package transfers to the carrier and the recipient. We are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, delay, misdelivery, or other issues that occur during or after transit, including but not limited to:

  • Damage caused by shipping carriers or handling during transit
  • Lost, delayed, or misrouted packages
  • Packages marked as delivered but not received
  • Theft of packages after delivery
  • Weather-related damage or delays
  • Customs inspections, duties, taxes, or border-related delays
  • Incorrect shipping information or addresses provided by the customer
  • Damage to outer packaging, shipping boxes, or other protective materials during transit
  • Damage resulting from improper handling after delivery
  • Delivery delays caused by carrier backlogs, labor disruptions, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control

While we are not responsible for issues that occur during or after transit, we are happy to assist customers with filing claims, investigations, or service requests with the shipping carrier whenever possible. This may include providing proof of shipment, shipping receipts, tracking information, photos of packaging prior to shipment, or other relevant documentation available to us.

Please note that any claim decision, reimbursement, or compensation is determined solely by the shipping carrier and/or insurance provider. Vancity CJ Trading Cards cannot guarantee the outcome of any claim or investigation.

We strongly recommend that customers inspect their package immediately upon arrival and record a continuous, unedited unboxing video when opening their order. Such documentation may be required when investigating shipping-related issues, missing contents claims, or transit damage claims.

Shipping Insurance

Unless otherwise specified, all shipments are covered only by the default insurance coverage provided by the selected shipping carrier. In most cases, this coverage is limited to approximately CAD $100, though actual coverage amounts may vary depending on the carrier and service selected.

Customers purchasing high-value items are strongly encouraged to request additional shipping insurance prior to shipment. Additional insurance coverage is available at the customer’s expense and must be arranged before the order is shipped.

If you would like to purchase additional insurance coverage for your order, please contact us before placing your order or before your order is shipped. Once an order has been shipped, insurance coverage cannot be modified or increased.

Vancity CJ Trading Cards is not responsible for any portion of loss or damage that exceeds the insurance coverage selected by the customer at the time of shipment.
